The 2024 Jack Link's Cup was held at Quail Creek Sporting Ranch in Okeechobee, Florida from February 13th-18th. Quail Creek is a beautiful club located in south central Florida that has a been hosting big blasts in the winter for years. A ground that has swamp lands, scrub oaks, palmetto flats, and pastures, this property offers a mixture of almost anything for target setters and shooters. With well over 1,000 total entrants, this event is the largest home grown NSCA shoot to date with people coming from across the country and even world to attend. This was largely in part to Jack Link's Beef Jerky putting up an astounding total payout of $300,000 which is the biggest pot ever seen on American Soil. With an event team led by Doug Vine, you can expect a unique layout that challenges and keeps all shooters on their toes. The Jack Link's Cup Main Event was shot over three courses on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The Red Course was a total of 66 targets, as was the White, and the Blue Course was 68 targets for a total of 200. When it was all said on done, the Okeechobee Native, Joseph Fanizzi won the Main Event with a strong 195/200 on his old home turf, having claimed his second Jack Link's Title in his second appearance at the event. Brandon Powell, who had been on an incredible roll during the “Florida Run” having won the two previous events at the Zoli Classic and Caribbean Classic placed Runner Up with a 193/200, and Turner Parcell of South Carolina placed Third with a 189/200. In the Ladies category, Madison Sharpe won HOA with a 183/200, Karen Miles was Runner Up with a 180/200, and Desirae Edmunds was Third with a 177/200. Richard Cheek shot a perfect 100 in the FITASC Event which was a hat tipping performance nonetheless. There was a three-way tie for Runner Up in the FITASC at 99/100 between Mike Wilgus, Gebben Miles, and Joseph Pinchin. These results mark the end of the 2024 Jack Link's Cup held at Quail Creek Sporting Ranch which was an event to remember.
