Bio

Hello, my name is Chase Handy. I am currently a senior at Saints Peter and Paul High School in Easton, MD. My main sport that I participate in is competitive Sporting Clays shooting through the National Sporting Clays Association (NSCA). I have been shooting NSCA events all over the United States in almost every region since 2019 and still plan on continuing to shoot more shooting competitions in the coming years. Before I was a Sporting Clays shooter, I had been shooting a lot of Skeet Shooting events through the National Skeet Shooting Association (NSSA) when I was 8-11 years old. When I first started shooting, I was only 6 years old and just shot Skeet for fun until I was about 8 years old and then started to participate in NSSA and local shooting events. Although shooting is my main sport, I still participate in my school's clubs and sports teams. Throughout my time in high school, I have been a part of both the varsity men's Lacrosse team and the varsity swim team. While doing all of these sports along with school work and having a job working as a lifeguard, I still have several hobbies that I like to do in my spare time. Those hobbies are hunting, fishing, camping, boating, being outside, and spending time with my friends. I also have an interest in getting my private pilot's license so I am also trying to continue doing flight lessons with each opportunity I get. All in all, my goals right now in life are to stay fit physically/mentally, graduate high school, move on to college, and hopefully be a part of a collegiate shooting team where I can continue participating in my sport while also getting a college degree. From there, I would hopefully like to join the military to help start me off on a great career path also because it has been a lifelong dream of mine to serve my country in the US. Military. Ultimately, I look forward to continuing shooting shotgun events all over the country while also achieving my career goals.

What I am looking for in a collegiate shooting experience is to be a part of a competitive shooting team that works together well as a team and always pushes to get better while always keeping a positive mindset to help grow stronger and get better as both shooters and people.
